This very high resolution UltraCam Xp image, acquired on 6 September 2015, shows the full extent of the Holuhraun lavafield which developed during the Bárðarbunga seismic event in 2014/15 (for more information see NATURAL HAZARDS).
Together with an UltraCam Xp image, acquired on 29 August 2014 at the very beginning of the event, and UltraCam surface models with a spatial resolution of 50 cm, this unique remote sensing data allows innovative geological research!
