First Sentinel-2A image of Eyjafjallajökull

A first, nearly cloud-free Sentinel-2A image of Eyjafjallajökull was acquired on 10 February 2016.
The spatial resolution of 10 m (visual and NIR bands) and a high repetition rate are promising for future hazard monitoring of the subglacial volcanoes in Iceland.
