Mýrdalsjökull glacier margin 2014 mapped with UltraCam and 3D data, see NEWS

Interactive 3D model of Iceland, including very high resolution UltraCam data, is now online!

The project IsViews uses high resolution remote sensing data (TerraSAR-X, TanDEM-X, RapidEye, HRSC, UltraCam, LiDAR) for early detection of subglacial volcanic eruptions in Iceland.

Research areas are Mýrdalsjökull, Eyjafjallajökull and the western part of Vatnajökull.
